Listen First
Good leadership starts with showing up and listening. I'll be accessible to precinct leaders, volunteers, and voters across District 18, not just at election time.

For Republican State Executive Committeeman, District 18
A neighbor you know. A leader you can trust. I'm Mark Evans, your Hendersonville Alderman, and I'm asking for your vote for Republican State Executive Committeeman, District 18.
A quick look at the role I'm running for, and the part of Tennessee I'm running to represent.
The Tennessee Republican State Executive Committee (SEC) is the governing body of the Tennessee Republican Party. Voters in each of Tennessee's 33 State Senate districts elect one Committeeman and one Committeewoman to a four-year term.
As your Committeeman, I'd help set the rules and direction of the state party, support strong Republican candidates, work alongside our county parties, and make sure the voice of District 18 is heard at the state level.
State Senate District 18 covers Sumner and Trousdale Counties, in the heart of Middle Tennessee just north of Nashville. It's home to the cities and communities Debbi and I have lived in, served, and loved for 33 years.
If you live in Sumner or Trousdale County, you live in District 18, and your vote on August 6, 2026 chooses who represents you on the State Executive Committee.
I want to share why I'm running for State Executive Committeeman and what serving Sumner County means to me. Take a minute to watch, then share it with a friend or neighbor.

My wife Debbi and I have called Sumner County home for 33 years. We've been married 41 years and raised our two children, Wade (Elizabeth) and Mackenzie (John), right here. Today we're blessed with two grandchildren, Emi and JJ, and a community we love.
I recently retired from the American Red Cross, where I served 15 years as the National Finance Director, with my team supporting a $750M annual budget alongside the Red Cross fundraising team. Most of my career has been spent in the non-profit sector, work that takes good business sense and a real heart for the mission.
I currently serve as Alderman in Ward 6 for the City of Hendersonville, where I've worked to bring people together, listen carefully, and plan well for the next generation. Debbi and I are active members of First Baptist Church Hendersonville, where we teach a young adult class. I've served on the Sumner County YMCA board, and we actively support Full Count Ministries, Young Life, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Crisis Pregnancy Center.
Friends have described me as "kind, wise, thoughtful, thorough, gracious, and solid." As your State Executive Committeeman for District 18, I'll bring that same steady, principled leadership to the Tennessee Republican Party.
The State Executive Committee guides the Tennessee Republican Party. Here's the kind of leadership I'll bring to the table.
Good leadership starts with showing up and listening. I'll be accessible to precinct leaders, volunteers, and voters across District 18, not just at election time.
I stand for life, liberty, faith, family, and the Constitution. These are the principles Debbi and I have lived by our whole lives.
I'll bring transparency, careful judgment, and integrity to the State Executive Committee. Friends describe me as kind, thoughtful, thorough, and solid, and that's exactly the kind of voice the committee needs.
I'll support strong candidates, healthy county parties, and a Republican Party that's united, growing, and ready to serve every Tennessean.
From my years at the American Red Cross, I know how to manage resources well and plan ahead, so the party we hand to our children and grandchildren is stronger than the one we inherited.
District 18 is home. I'll be a real voice for Hendersonville, Gallatin, and every neighbor in Sumner County at the state party table.

Debbi and I have lived, worked, worshiped, and raised our family in Sumner County for 33 years. From council meetings to church on Sunday, I show up, because this community isn't a campaign stop, it's home.
